So many poverty stricken families in Montgomery County need our help.

Dancing Thru Life creates free after-school/at-school freestyle social dance programs for disadvantaged youths. We provide a safe and fun haven for at-risk youth so parents can continue to work and support their families.

Children left alone at home after school often face abuse, food insecurity, suicidal thoughts and obesity. Dancing Thru Life’s mission is to change this trajectory for children – one Title 1 school at a time. We currently have three schools dancing in CISD, and our goal for the 2023-2024 school year is to add at least 10 more Title 1 schools — but we can’t do it alone. We need your help–Donate today!

School Sponsors:

Our 6-month program includes regularly scheduled dance classes at the school. Each class is supported by 1-2 professional dance instructors as well as Dancing Thru Life staff and community volunteers. Each program will provide at least 1-2 live dance performances for the children to show off their new dance skills and confidence. These dance performances and our professional instructors are the result of a community outreach partnership with the Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Texas. School Team Shirt Sponsors:

Our Dancing Thru Life children need to order a dance team shirt for live dance performances. It is very important for the children to feel the pride and camaraderie of being part of a team. In some cases, our poverty stricken families are unable to purchase a t-shirt. Your donation will make it possible for EVERY child to have one.
